The book presents the phylogenetic implications of a palynological survey (i.e., the study of pollen grains characters) of the species of the subfamily Lamioideae—one of the two large subfamilies of Lamiaceae (aka Labiatae). The study encompassed 370 species representing 86 genera of Lamioideae and 6 genera of Verbenaceae.
