Losmandy 12" Tripod Extension for G-11 and GM-8 Tripods Only

This 12" tripod extension fits G-11 and GM-8 mounts only to raise the eyepiece of a long focal ratio refractor or fast focal ratio reflector to a more comfortable observing height.

This 6.0" diameter, 12.0" high tripod extension fits G-11 and GM-8 mounts only. It mounts between the tripod legs and the equatorial head to add 12" of height to the telescope.

This raises the eyepieces of long focal ratio refractors or fast focal ratio reflectors to a more comfortable observing height and helps keep the tail piece of long optical tubes from hitting the tripod legs in certain observing positions. Mounting holes are provided in the EX12 so that the posts that hold the electronics that are normally mounted on the side of the GM8 and G11 mounts can be re-positioned on the extension to raise the electronics to a more comfortable height, as well.

The 6 pound 6 ounce extension is made of machined aluminum, with a black painted exterior to match the tripod and equatorial head.
