Offered is a rare, antique French leather bag. The bag has faded gold writing on one side, "Cercle des Conferences Commercials, 8 Rue Ste Cecile. The commercial bag at one time was lockable and most likely had a carrying strap--no key or strap remain. Made of substantial, pebbled black leather, the bag has impressive old hardware. In vintage condition--the leather is dry and worn, hardware is unpolished. The bag measures approximately 10" wide x 8 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" deep. Purchased at a charming Paris antique shop, it is a unique commercial relic.
